- Please chose the category you would like to make your application form the categories list, and fill in the appropriate form.
- Please follow the steps in filling in your application.
- Μake sure you read and tick on agree with terms and conditions, and then press submit to complete your application .
- Each artist is allowed to participate in more than one category but not exceeding four artworks per category.
- A separate submission form must be submitted for each category/work. Exception is Digital Image category, if a collection of works, is under the same title. This collection cannot exceed five artworks.
- Progress of your application cannot be saved. If not submitted in one run then you may have to fill the application again.
- You can move back and forth your application prior to submitting your application without losing your application progress with the appropriate buttons.
- All links in the application should be added with https:// in front.
- All telephone numbers should include the country code in front.
- If you are making your submission 100% online, make sure you choose online in the application form last step, and include a visual link of your work in the appropriate space appearing after.
- If you are making your application and choose to send your work via post please make sure you post it to : Athens Digital Arts Festival , Miltiadou 21, 10560 Athens Greece or Athens Digital Arts Festival, Fleming 7 ,14342 Nea Filadelfeia Athens Greece. We advise you get a tracking number to make sure your letter reaches us.
- In case your post file gets lost in the mail we hold no responsibility, and we are not obliged to notify you that your application is not complete.
- Before submitting your application on the comments area you can attach any extra material such as photos, extra links, tech riders (which is strongly advised.) This material can be in any online format, e.g. link, we transfer, or cloud link. We strongly advise to prefer could links as wetransfer sometimes expire as vast number of applications may result in delay in examining your application. In this case our curatorial team will reach out to you for a new link. If your cloud link is psw protected then please provide the psw in comments. Make sure we should not ask for permission to view the files this make it a lot easier for the curatorial team 🙂
- Αll video art and animation videos should be included in DVD (PAL) (for post applications)or video file( for online applications). In the case of video file, it should not exceed 2GB and should be either in .avi, mpeg or .mov format
- All video art and animation videos should not exceed 15 min. If they do they can automatically be declined.
- The festival is on vimeo, meaning you can provide vimeo links with your applications. In case your work is psw protected, please provide the password to the comments link together with the video link
- All ADAF curators work in close proximity and exchange applications that may think are a better fit to another category so maybe you apply in one category and get accepted in another.
- Applications of works that have not yet been materialized but are of complete concept and design, are eligible for application provided is possible for them to be ready about two months prior to the festival date.
- Some details provided in the application form may be used for the program and catalog in case your work has been selected.
- It is possible but not advisable to change title to your work after application
- It is possible but not advisable to add information to the application after submission. Ιt is not possible to retract information from an already submitted application.
- All shortlisted artists will be informed via mail by the curators according to the category they apply in. This procedure may take a while due to the vast number of applications we receive each year. Not all shortlisted artists will be selected for participation.
- Non selected artist will not be personally notified.
