“Wasm” is about a woman with mysterious marks on her forehead who helps a vulnerable child in a post-apocalyptic world. As their journey unfolds, she faces a difficult choice between ensuring her own survival and taking care of a child. The themes ”Wasm” explores are morality and ethical decision-making.
Loujain Alzahrani
Loujain Alzahrani is a faculty member in the Animation and Filmmaking program at Princess Noura University and is a distinguished artist and researcher with an MFA from Pratt Institute in Digital Arts and Animation and a BA in Motion Graphics from Dar Al Hekma University. Her approach to media studies results from looking through a multifaceted academic lens that explores moral and cultural perspectives. She treats her audience’s emotions with care, believing that empathy is the most powerful tool for communicating complex themes.
