Exarcheia Square, with its historical, cultural, and political significance, is a perfect location to explore the concept of simulacra. This workshop invites participants to reinterpret this public space through collage-making and to transform selected works into augmented reality (AR) experiences. Participants will conceptualize Exarcheia Square through collage and the workshop facilitators will turn it into AR, transforming a static narrative into an interactive experience. By working in groups, participants will have the opportunity to reimagine the symbolic identity of the square in an innovative, interactive and participatory way. Outcomes will provide both participants and viewers with a chance to question the dynamics between reality and representation.
