The project received support from world-leading Plant Science and Microbiology Researchers at the John Innes Centre, UK. Henry Driver
Henry Driver is an artist, farmer, and game developer from Suffolk, UK. His work has been exhibited worldwide, including in Australia, Canada, Japan, the USA, and across Europe. In the UK, he has shown at Tate Liverpool, Tate Britain, Whitechapel, and Barbican. His videos have been broadcast in over 40 countries. He was shortlisted for the Aesthetica Art Prize 2016 and featured in the XL Catlin Guide 2016, described by Dazed & Confused as showcasing “art’s next big names.” In 2017, he was selected for alt.barbican, an accelerator for artists merging art and technology. In 2019, he was named a top 15 UK artist under 35 for the Kleinwort Hambros Art Prize. His projects focus on environmental awareness, inspired by his farming background and firsthand experience of climate change’s impact. Since 2019, he has dedicated his work entirely to environmental themes.
