The creation of “Pixels and Perspectives: Unraveling Identity and Connection in the Digital Age” was prompted by a need to grapple withthe creators identity as both a visual and 3D artist within the rapidly evolving digital landscape. In the realm of 3D artistry, the immediate demands of decision-making and project fulfillment compel the artist to engage with new software and AI programs, each characterized by a sense of temporal immediacy. Observing the entwined relationship between the lifestyle of a 3D artist and the constant influx of information via screens became a pivotal realization. This observation led to introspection on the uncontrolled deluge of information in our lives, drawing parallels to Plato’s Cave allegory, where our daily interaction with screens mirrors the symbolic journey towards enlightenment. Inspiration was drawn from the series “Legion” and a childhood puzzle featuring Hieronymus Bosch’s “The Garden of Earthly Delights.” The puzzle, initially chosen for its thematic relevance, evolved into a metaphor for the intricate process of assembling digital information and the simultaneous need for satire. Beyond being an homage to timeless art, “Pixels and Perspectives: Unraveling Identity and Connection in the Digital Age” transformed into a multifaceted representation. It weaves internalized information without adhering to causality, muchlike the ceaseless flow of technological data. This piece invites viewers on a visual journey, prompting contemplation on the complexities of digital existence and the evolving intersection of art and technology.
