MobiCAVE, a key infrastructure of the HCI-VR lab, is a customized VR-CAVE system that enables the study and experimentation with immersive technologies in real-world spaces. At ADAF, players will experience three projects, originally developed for MobiCAVE, on a large screen. The system will be using a motion-tracking setup for physical interaction through body movement, preserving immersion while also fostering engagement among participants. In Prometheus Project, the player uses their body as a controller to solve puzzles in an escape room style first person view game. Turtle Heroes is a serious third-person shooter type game that promotes environmental awareness by focusing on protecting endangered Caretta caretta sea turtles. Players can either collaborate in local multiplayer or play alone seamlessly and throw shells at threats to turtle nests by using arm motion gestures. Sacred Places is a 360 video tour of areas of outstanding natural beauty or historical importance in the Peloponnese.
