Arthur, a child on the autism spectrum meets Theo, a neurotypical child. Together they’ll learn to communicate and bond through the discovery of an imaginary aquatic world.
Two character designers, Valentine and Yuhan, who worked hand in hand to create Arthur and Theo’s character and give all the visual keys for the spectators to understand how these two little guys are different from each other. Valentine was also in charge of the storyboard and tried to turn all the intricacies of this story into visuals.
A background and compositing artist, Gaëlle, who took care of all the movie’s backgrounds, in both worlds. She established the differences between these two universes while keeping that gentle and childlike atmosphere that defines the film. As the compositing artist, she made sure that it stayed visually consistent and stood up to all the technical challenges.
And three 2D animators : Noam, Martin and Sofian, who split the different shots of the movie between them, doing their best to make every scene as touching as possible. They made Theo and Arthur come to life on screen, preserving the coherence of each character’s personality and making them as authentic as possible
