Alina Kostikova
Alina Kostikova (b. 1999, Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine) is a director and animator with a background in fine arts and graphic design. She studied at the Kyiv State Academy of Applied Arts and Design. Alina explores poetic and atmospheric storytelling through 2D animation, often reflecting on memory, fleeting moments, and personal perception of reality. She started in animation by creating VJing visuals for musical performances and working in commercial animation before diving into independent filmmaking. Her short film Last Summer Page (2024) marks her first personal directorial work. She continues to develop independent projects while drawing inspiration from everyday beauty, sketching, and art galleries.
