Mikael Delta, a founding member of Stereo Nova and a pioneer of electronic music, will present live at the Athens Digital Arts Festival the music performance “Ichonomia,” a unique audiovisual live set featuring music from the beginning of his solo career to the present day. Selected pieces from the Techno-Electronica project Tetramor 19, the unreleased powerful experimental project “Pathos,” as well as musical works that were released on the legendary Belgian Techno label R&S Records, in the UK (Glasgow Underground Rec), in France (Distance Rec), in Germany (Young Society Rec), in Lithuania (Cold Tear Rec), and of course in Greece through Klik Records, Inner Ear Records, Fm Rec, and Blue Dot Music. Mihalis Delta’s “Ichonomia” invites us to a powerful auditory experience, exploring the initiatory dimension of electronic music. Joining him on stage will be drummer Petros Tsamparlis of SixforNine and Avant-Garde musician IOTA PHI on vocals.
Mikael Delta
Mikael Delta was born in Athens. He worked as a clothing salesman, graphic designer, and DJ. He was a founding member of the band Stereo Nova. He has released more than 20 albums in Greece, the UK, Belgium, France, Germany, Lithuania, Spain, and America, as well as music for theatre, film, and media events. He has collaborated with both Greek and foreign artists and creators, including Tanya Tsanaklidou, Etten, Iota Phi, Billie Ray Martin, and others. Since 2016, he has published 6 self-development and inner exploration books with Odos Panos Publishing. He has been involved for many years with psychotherapy, esotericism, and energy healing methods. He is a teacher and practitioner of the Japanese Reiki system of Mikao Usui.
