Public Service Announcement Channel (PSAC) is a long-term conceptual project initiated by artists. By constructing a fictional mass media institution and mimicking various media dissemination formats, the project reflects on and explores aspects of life in late capitalist society. As the first work in the series, Hypercapitalism Gospel adopts the form of a mockumentary, reconstructing an alternative version of human history. In this narrative, late capitalism not only assumes the role of nature and divinity but also shapes the world we inhabit today—a human history forged by a fictional ideology. The video emulates the style of classic television programs such as National Geographic and Wildlife Documentaries, tracing an imagined historical timeline in which late capitalism takes the place of religion. It poses a fundamental question: Have we created this fictional yet collectively accepted concept, or has this concept created us?
