A technological invention allows its wearers to shift and wander between infinite possibilities. However, as the wearers soon discover, mysterious occurrences begin to take place as physical and digital environments begin to combine. In a world where the lines between our urban spaces and our digital environment are continuously blurring, what is the best possible path forward, if there still is one? “Crazy Lotus” explores themes of escapism and the dual nature of technology as both enticing and terrifying. The work is a thought-provoking commentary on how technology shapes our perceptions and experiences, often leading us into non-spaces that are both wondrous and dangerous.
