An interactive, creative educational program that helps children develop self-confidence and self-esteem. Children help Kiko the squirrel cross the forest and reach the stars on a journey of observation, discovery, and personal skill development, using digital tools. In the end, they send a message of love to themselves, reminding them to never lose their strength and smile.
Georgia Theofanous
Georgia Theofanous was born in Cyprus. She studied Psychology at the University of Crete and Theatre at the Athens Conservatory. She employs creative teaching techniques based on theatre and animation as a means to educate preschool and elementary school children in new and innovative ways. She is also an award-winning animation producer and director. Her films have been screened both nationally and internationally.
Vivi Markatou
Vivi Markatou is an award-winning animator and children’s book illustrator based in the United Kingdom. She is a member of the Greek section of IBBY (International Board on Books for Young People), ASIFA (International Animated Film Association), and WIA (Women in Animation). She studied Theatre Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with an Erasmus exchange at Freie Universität Berlin. She also studied Graphic Design at IEK Xini and DIEK Lamia and holds an MSc in Computer Animation from the University of Portsmouth, where she was honored with the title of valedictorian. She has illustrated hundreds of children’s books and has participated as a speaker in numerous workshops for both children and adults.
