The exhibition presents works by the students of the course Interaction |, Interactive Image and Sound Environments from the postgraduate program Digital Forms of Art of Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA), developed using the p5.js library. Through creative programming, the participants explored the digital ‘sketch,’ concept examining the relationship between light, motion, sound, and information, shaping rhythmic and interactive compositions that respond to stimuli and data. The works in the exhibition combine elements of code, algorithmic structures, patterns, and sensory interaction, revealing the potential of open-source programming environments as tools for artistic expression. By utilizing the P5 and ML5 libraries, the students developed applications that process and transform digital data, generating dynamic images, soundscapes, and personalized reproductions of visual information. As part of the Simularca festival, the exhibition explores the boundaries between simulation and reality, proposing interactive environments where code becomes the medium for creating new sensory experiences.
