Maria the Mechanic builds a spaceship to fulfil her dream of seeing the blue star in the sky up close. Unbeknownst to her, it’s just the magic Princess Calypso, who loves to read her books in the night sky. When Maria’s ship begins to malfunction while flying, Calypso rescues her.

Director Jazzy Barry grew up in Hong Kong. At 12, she moved to the UK to attend boarding school. She later attended Arts University Bournemouth and is set to graduate in the summer of 2024. Jazzy is inspired by the people she has met at university and her family.
